Jackson, IA (KICD) — A rural Jackson man was hurt when his motorcycle collided with a deer Monday afternoon. Sheriff Shawn Haken says the accident ocurred shortly before 2 o’clock when 63 year old Jeff Fiala was alone on the bike about two miles South of town on Petersburg road.
He was taken by ambulance to the Jackson Hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
