Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Clay County Historical society is looking for history experts all over Clay County to celebrate the county’s 175-year anniversary.

 

Clay County prefers to celebrate community birthdays in 25-year increments. Susan Christiansen at the Clay County Historical Society says 2026 is one of those years.

 

 

Christiansen would like at least one expert PER TOWN to help tell the story.
