Incoming President Brenda Tiefenthaler tells KICD News she is feeling good as far as preparation to take over her new role.

Tiefenthaler currently serves at the Senior Vice President of Patient Care and Operations, but she is currently unsure what that position will look like in the future.

Outside the walls of Spencer Hospital, Tiefenthaler says visual progress is now being seen on the new multi-million dollar Emergency Department over part of what used to be East 11th Street.

The official transition between Bill Bumgarner and Brenda Tiefenthaler as President of Spencer Hospital is planned for early November. The Emergency Department project is scheduled to be completed sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
