Sheldon, IA (KICD)– Police in Sheldon are investigating a death at a local motel, but say there does not appear to be any danger to public.

Police Chief Scott Burtch says he received notice from the Holiday Inn last week and then called in the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation. Chief Burtch says additional information will be released when it is available.
