Spencer, IA (KICD)– The City of Spencer’s Department Heads gave their monthly reports to the City Council on Monday which included some busy days for the community’s emergency services.

Police Chief Mark Warburton look back at what seems to be at least a moderately steady number of calls for his officers while some also looked to advance their career.

Fire Chief Jesse Coulson says his crew stayed busy with a variety of different calls for assistance.

Next week is also recognized as Fire Prevention Week and we will hear more from Chief Coulson about this year’s focus and some general fire safety tips on Monday.
