Des Moines, IA (KICD) — A new district associate judge has been appointed for Judicial Election district 2-B.
Governor Kim Reynolds has announced Hunter Thorpe will be taking over the spot when current judge Steven Van Marel retires.
District 2-B covers thirteen counties including Pocahontas County here in the KICD Broadcast area.
Thorpe is currently the Assistant Attorney for Boone County.
