Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — The Storm Lake police department made a total of 129 adult arrests in the month of September, down 53 from the same month a year ago. Some of those arrests were more serious offenses, however: There was an attempted murder charge, more assault charges, more thefts, and more buglaries. There were 15 juvenile arrests for the month, the same as September of 2022. Of those arrests, four were for drugs, four for theft, and five thefts.
The Buena Vista county Attorney’s office says they got 18 convictions in the month of September. That included six O.W.I.s and three convictions for possession of marijuana.
