Spencer, IA (KICD)– We may be around two years removed from the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, but some businesses, like Spencer Hospital, are continuing feel the negative impacts.

President and CEO Bill Bumgarner says the latest hospital audit report shows a slight deficit in overall income.

Despite the numbers presented last week, Bumgarner says Spencer Hospital is not going to let them effect day to day operations.

Total operating revenues for Fiscal Year 2023 came in just over 112 thousand dollars with operating expenses nearing 120 thousand.
