Hospers, IA (KICD)– A Sioux County hog barn was destroyed after fire raced through the structure over the weekend.

The Sioux County Communications Center received the initial call just before three o’clock Saturday afternoon that a confinement building was on fire a mile east of Hospers.

The building is considered to be a total loss and was empty at the time of the blaze.
