Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Spencer Rotary Club’s annual book sale is returning for the second half of the week at the Clay County Regional Events Center.

Volunteer Bob Goeken estimates 40 THOUSAND items were donated this year.

Goeken says the books get cheaper throughout the week, but you can participate in the “First Choice Party” Wednesday.

Proceeds fund local Rotary programs including the purchase of new books for elementary schools in Clay County.
