Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A Storm Lake man has been charged in connection to a stolen vehicle investigation from earlier this month.
The Storm Lake Police Department was contacted on the evening of November 1st with a report about a vehicle that had reportedly been the evening prior.
Officers subsequently put the vehicle into a nationwide stolen property database with a hit a hit coming back out of Webster County after that vehicle reportedly involved in a theft there.
Police were notified that 25-year-old Kaw Pa Thaw had since been released from custody in Webster County and would remain at large until officers were called to the same home on Sunday where the stolen vehicle investigation had originated which led to Thaw being charged with second degree theft.
