Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A Terril man is going to federal prison a federal drug conviction.

47-year-old Timothy Steinbeck pled guilty in April to conspiring to distribute methamphetamine admitting in court that he was part of group working to spread nearly six pounds of the drug around Northwest Iowa.

Steinbeck was given ten years behind bars on Monday and will remain in the custody of United States Marshals until he is transferred to a federal facility.
