Governor Reynolds Appoints New Judge Serving Pocahontas County

Des Moines, IA (KICD)– Iowa’s Governor has announced an appointment to fill a vacancy on the bench serving part of the local area.

Ashley Sparks will serve as a district judge in District 2B which covers Pocahontas County and surrounding areas to the north, south and east.

Sparks currently resides in Bondurant and owners Sparks Law, PLLC and serves as a Boone County Magistrate. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University, a master’s degree from the UNI and her law degree from Drake University Law School.
