Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Iowa Tourism office thinks visitors spent six point nine billion dollars last year. Clay County Tourism Coordinator Olivia Baxter says our share was 40 million.

Baxter’s job is making sure potential visitors are aware of the local amenities.

 

Baxter says the study identifies three hundred six individuals employed by the tourism industry in Clay County.
