Spencer, IA (KICD)– After more than a decade of having office space generously donated by Janitor’s Closet, the Shayla Bee Foundation now has its own building at 719 1st Avenue West.

Founder Jerry Faulkner invites the community for an open house Friday and Saturday.

Faulkner says thanks to the outpouring of support in ten counties, the small charity has grown to a position of having a full-time director and a dedicated office.

With the new office building, Shayla Bee is bringing back the holiday craft and bake sale fundraiser this year. The group donated cash to TWENTY-FIVE FAMILIES this calendar year alone.
