Graettinger, IA (KICD)– Two juveniles have been charged after allegedly making threats against local schools

Palo Alto County Sheriff John King tells KICD News his office was first notified of a threat being made at Ruthven-Ayrshire Community Schools Friday evening. The investigation led to a 16-year-old suspect being charged with one felony count of making threats of terrorism before being referred to Juvenile Court Services.

The second incident was also reported in Palo Alto County against the Graettinger Terril Ruthven Ayrshire School District on Saturday in the form of a social media post which led to an investigation being opened between local, state and federal authorities.
