Des Moines, IA (KICD) — A resident of the KICD Broadcast area wraps up his government appointment as head of the state’s banking industry this week. Jeff Plagge was appointed Banking Superintendent by Governor Reynolds four years ago.

Plagge started as an ag lender in Latimer, and rose to chairman of Spencer’s Northwest Financial Corporation before a term as a regulator.

Plagge will continue to serve on a couple of bank boards, and says he’s looking forward to spending more time with his family at Okoboji.
