Algona, IA (KICD)– A Bancroft woman stands accused of stealing several thousand dollars from a Northern Iowa booster club.

The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office opened in investigation in November after receiving a report that money had allegedly been stolen from a concession stand operated by the North Union Sports Booster Club several months earlier.

The investigation found the person responsible for the summer concession proceeds had failed to provide records of deposits estimated to be over 58-hundred dollars. That led to 41-year-old Erin Fraker being arrested for second degree theft in late December.
