Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A Storm Lake man has been charged with making purchases using credit cards not belonging to him.

The Storm Lake Police Department received a report of fraudlent activity from a local business in November that reportedly resuled in thousands of dollars in losses.

An investigation into the matter determined 47-year-old Barbaro Dominguez had used credit cards belonging to the reporting business to purchase around five thousand dollars in fuel over a span time dating back to October.

Dominguez turned himself into police last week and was charged with second degree theft and two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, both felony offenses.
