Sheldon, IA (KICD) — A Sanborn woman sustained possible injuries after rear-ending another motorist on highway 18 near Sheldon Sunday afternoon.

29 year old Allyson Moser was transported to Sheldon Hospital after the accident that occurred around 5:30pm.
30 year old Andrew Sterk of Sheldon was Eastbound and slowing to turn into a driveway. Moser was also Eastbound, and says she was looking at her cell phone and didn’t see Sterk slowing down in front of her.

Sterk was apparently not hurt. Moser was charged by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Department for use of an electronic communication device while driving.
