Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Iowa Great Lakes Board of Realtors has released sales figures for 2023.
Northwest Iowa Realty Broker / Owner Kim Bates says local sales tend to be more even than national trends.
There were 195 sales in Clay County, one fewer than 2022. The average sale price was 204 thousand dollars, up seventeen-point 2 percent.
There were 457 deals in Dickinson County, up 5.9 percent. The average price was 520 thousand dollars up 4.4 percent.
There were 96 home sales in Emmet County, down 15.6 percent from 2022 with an average price of 139 thousand dollars, down a fraction of a percent from the prior year.
