Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– One driver was killed in Tuesday evening crash involving three semis south of Storm Lake.

The Iowa State Patrol and Storm Lake first responders were called to the intersection of Highway 71 and 7 around 7:40 where a westbound truck and trailer driven by 63-year-old Humberto Aladro-Valdes of Storm Lake was found to have run a stop sign resulting in a collision with a northbound truck whose trailer then sideswiped a southbound semi.

Aladro-Valdes was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the cab of his truck and died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
