Spencer, IA (KICD)– The month of February is recognized as American Heart Month, a period of time set aside to increase awareness and education on heart health.
Anne Rosendahl is the Patient Coordinator for Spencer Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Services. She says it is important to know what is happening during a heart attack considering the condition is the leading cause of death for both men and women worldwide.
Symptoms of a heart attack can vary from one person to another, but there are some common indicators that can act as warning signs.
