Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– A man convicted of multiple sexual abuse related crimes will spend several decades behind bars.

Now 42-year-old Ka Toe turned himself into police last June after being accused of having sexual contact with a child in a Storm Lake home on multiple occasions between January 2019 and March 2020.

He entered an Alford plea in October to sexulal abuse, lascivious acts witha child and incest which does not admit guilt but indicates there would be enough evidence for a jury to convict.

Toe was given up to 25 years in prison on Monday for the sexual abuse conviction, up to 10 years for the lascivious acts and five years for incest. All of the sentences will be served consecutively making total time behind bars up to 40 years.
