Spencer, IA (KICD)– A well known Spencer physician has earned a special recognition for his continued work and support of the local community.

Dr. David Keith is a family physician with Avera Medical Group Spencer and has achieved the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Keith says the thought of becoming a Fellow goes well beyond the normal practice of family medicine.

In addition to his already busy schedule with his medical practice, Dr. Keith is also involved in other aspects of the medical community including public health and hospice. He was awarded his honorary degree last Fall at the annual meeting of the FAAFP in Chicago.
