Harris, IA (KICD)– Dense fog is being blamed for a two vehicle crash that sent an Estherville man to the hospital Monday morning.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of 160th Street and Wilson Avenue near Harris around 8:45 where a northbound pickup was found to have failed to yield the right of way at the uncontrolled intersection leading to a collision with a westbound delivery van.
The delivery driver, identified as 27-year-old Blake Enderson was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with what are described as minor injuries. The pick-up’s driver, 28-year-old Dylan Huisenga of South Sioux City was not hurt but was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
