Spencer, IA (KICD)– Spencer Hospital launched a new challenge this week encouraging routine fitness as part of Heart Month.

The program has a overall goal for everyone involved to rack up enough walking miles to cover the distance from Spencer to Valentine, Nebraska 331 miles away.

For each mile walked, the participants will have their name entered into a drawing for a creative basket of Valentine goodies.

The challenge kicked off on Monday and will run through early next week.
