Estherville, IA (KICD)– Two Estherville men are facing drug charges following separate traffic stops over the last week.

The first stop took place on the afternoon of February 28th when the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office stopped 22-year-old Kenneth Burrow on Highway 4 near Wallingford for a registration issue.

Further investigation led to the alleged discovery of illegal substance in the vehicle which led to Burrow being charged with possession of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia along with driving without registration and failing to provide insurance.

The second arrest came last Friday an Emmet County Deputy stopped a speeding vehicle northwest of Ringsted. That investigation led to 27-year-old Arnoldo Garcia Jr. being arrested for allegedly driving while revoked, failing to provide proof of insurance, speeding, not having registration and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
