Arnolds Park, IA (KICD) — The Highway 71 rebuilding through the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes is set to resume Monday. D.O.T. Engineer Daken Schultz says phase three will focus on Northbound lanes through Arnolds Park and Okoboji.
The goal is to maintain access to ALL businesses, and to hamper as little through traffic as possible; but Daken hopes semis do drive around the West side of the lake.
In deference to the tourist season, the Highway 71 replacement is being done in phases where work is done only before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.
