Spencer, IA (KICD)– A Windom woman has been charged with a drug offense following a traffic stop last week in Clay County.

A deputy with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office initiated the stop in the early morning hours of March 6th for a traffic violation when marijuana could reportedly be smelled coming from the car.

Further investigation led to 19-year-old Kendra Flaherty being arrested for alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and cited for speeding. She was taken to the Clay County Jail to await her initial court appearance.
