Estherville IA, (KICD)–There is new information regarding the Estherville Lincoln Central Superintendent search.

The Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District Broad of Directors gave an update on the Superintendent hiring process After meeting with Grundmeyer Leader Services.

The posted position produced 9 applicants that included 6 male candidates, two female candidates and one candidate gave no response. From the pool there was a combined total of eight specialty 6-year degrees and two terminal degrees.

After a further review of the candidates references license verification application and social media, 5 candidates emerged for screening interviews that will take place on March 27th.

The ideal candidate would be someone that is a forward-looking leader with a focus on student achievement.

The board will conduct formal interviews with the finalists on April 2nd and the selected Superintendent will officially begin on July 1st.
