Milford, IA (KICD)– An Estherville man was seriously hurt following a single vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Dickinson County.

Authorities say they were notified of the incident by crash detection on a smart phone at 3:30 southeast of Milford and once on scene, responding units determined a pickup had gone out of control, entered the ditch and rolled.

The driver, 65-year-old Robert Houseman, was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. He was originally taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with serious injuries before later being airlifted to Sioux Falls.
