The Sioux City Relays were held this weekend on the Campus of Morningside University at Elwood Olsen Stadium. Several KICD area schools competed against schools from the Tri-State Area. Here are some notable finishers from the KICD 9-County Area.

Nora Peterson of Alta-Aurelia finished 2nd in the Girls 3000m Run with a time of 10:35.21.

Spencer’s Weston Johnson took 2nd in the Boys 110m Hurdles for Class A with a time of 15.22. Johnson would later place 5th in the Elite Race at 15.42.

Miles Robbins of Spencer was 2nd in the Boys 100m Dash for Class A with a time of 11.08. Robbins would take 3rd in the Elite race with a time of 11.16.

The Okoboji Boys 4x800m Relay team of Jostand, Heimdal, Sandven, and Osler won with a time of 8:04.19. The Spencer team of Munson, Krogman, Tello, and Koppie was 3rd with 8:19.13.

Spencer’s Boys Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Johnson, Pitts, Hinkeldey, and Timmer won with a time of 1:00.48 seconds.

The Spencer 4x200m Relay team of Robbins, Pitts, Berends, and Stanzel took 2nd with a time of 1:29.91.

Alta-Aurelia’s Nora Peterson was 3rd in the Girls 1500m Run with a time of 4:58.93.

Lucy Simington of Spencer took 4th in the Girls 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:13.34.

Sheldon’s Isaac Wenthe was 2nd in the Boys 400m Hurdles with a time of 57.35 seconds, Preston Pitts of Spencer was 4th with 58.66 seconds, and MMCRU’s Gage Johnson took 5th with a time of 58.99 seconds.

The Alta-Aurelia Sprint Medley Relay team of Langschwager, Peterson, DeGroot, and Berkland was 3rd with a time of 1:59.73.

Spencer’s Girls Sprint Medley Relay team of Koenig, Vail, Krieg, and Hopkins placed 3rd with a time of 2:00.07 seconds.

The Spencer Boys Sprint Medley Relay team of Robbins, Berends, Munson, and Krogman won with a time of 3:42.32.

The Alta-Aurelia Girls team of Langschwager, DeGroot, Mattson, and Peterson was 3rd in the 4x100m Relay Class C Race with a time o0f 54.07 seconds.

The Okoboji Girls 4x100m Relay team of Avery, Meyer, Wells, and Allen took 3rd in the Class B Race with a time of 50.55 seconds.

The Spencer Boys 4x100m Relay team of Stanzel, Robbins, Berends, and Johnson were 2nd in the Class A race with a time of 43.65 seconds.

Nora Peterson of Alta-Aurelia won the Girls 800m Run with a time of 2:26.4, Spencer’s Adalyn Schoelerman was 2nd with a time of 2:27.13.

Okoboji had a good day in the Boys 800m run with Evan Osler winning with a time of 2 minutes flat and Trigg Heimdal taking 3rd with a time of 2:04.42.

The Spencer Girls 4x400m Relay for Class A Girls made up of Brown, Elits, Haldin, and Schmidt was 2nd with a time of 4:38.81.

Spencer’s Boys’ 4x400m Relay team of VonEhwegen, Munson, Krogman, and Pitts was 2nd with a time of 3:35.16.
