Estherville, IA (KICD)– A traffic stop in Estherville has lead to drug charges against an Arkansas man. Sheriff Mike Martens says 37 year old Casablanca Splunge was stopped for driving over the speed limit on the outskirts of town at 2am on April 6th.

In addition to OWI and several traffic offenses, Splunge was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and synthetic urine.

That same weekend the Sheriff’s department was called to a disturbance at 2904 A 110th Avenue in rural Emmet County. Martens says 23 year old Jed Costley was taken into custody when officers reportedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the home.
