Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A Spencer man will spend more than a decade in federal prison on a drug conviction after having convicted in another drug case ten years ago.
57-year-old Todd Williams pled guilty in November to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute after evidence presented in court showed more than two pounds of the drug was seized when police executed a search warrant last March along with around 50-thousand dollars in cash. He was later apprehended following a pursuit that reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
Williams was given 158 months behind bars on Wednesday will be required to serve an additional eight years on supervised release following the prison term. He is currently in the custody of the United States Marshal pending transfer to a federal facility.
