Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Tigers Girls Soccer team welcomed Sioux City West to the Northwest Iowa Soccer Field on Friday in Spencer.
The Tigers got off to a fast start with 3 goals in the first 6 minutes of play. Addison Hoben scored the first and 3rd goals with Avery McEntee scoring the 2nd for her 8th of the season.
The Tigers wouldn’t score again for over 25 minutes then went on another flurry toward the end of the first half. Addison Hoben scored her 4th of the game with 8:37 to play. Ana Olson would follow that up a minute later.
Riley Harper would score her first career high school goal to make it 6-0.
Aubrie Stell, normally the Spencer Goalkeeper, played in the midfield most of the game, and picked up her second goal on the year.
Addison Hoben would score her 4th and 5th goal on the day to make it 9-0 with 30:26 left before the State’s leader in Goals scored was brought out of the game. Ana Olson would finish the game off early with 18:55 left, as the Tigers improved to 6-2 on the season.
Spencer will host Western Christian on Thursday.
