Milford, IA (KICD)– Okoboji Community Schools have hired a familiar agency to assist with finding a new Superintendent following Todd Abrahamson’s announcement that he will be retiring at the end of the next school year.

Trent Grundmeyer of Grundmeyer Leadership Service says having this much time to find a new school leader is a rare opportunity which he believes will be beneficial to Okoboji Schools.

Grundmeyer says the search process will officially begin in the next couple of months by learning about qualities being sought for a new Superintendent.

Grundmeyer has become somewhat familiar with the local area having assisted with other Superintendent searches in the recent past, the most recent being for Estherville Lincoln Central Schools.
