Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — A Storm Lake man faces multiple charges following a weekend traffic stop.

Storm Lake Police report that early Sunday morning around 2:15 a.m., an officer stopped 33-year-old Chester George near East 5th Street and Geisinger Road.  Officers allege George was driving intoxicated and physically resisted arrest when they tried to take him into custody.

George is now booked in the Buena Vista County Jail on an $8,300 bond. He faces several charges, including felony OWI third offense, driving while barred, driving while revoked, and interference with official acts.
