Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Waldorf History Professor Kevin Mason will be presenting the History of the Dragoons in Iowa Thursday night in Spirit Lake. The Dragoons staffed the early forts, but ALSO tried to map the new territory – coming as far West as present day Estherville.

 

Mason recently tried to recreate their trek on foot.

 

Mason’s presentation is Thursday at 7pm at the Dickinson County Museum.
