From there, Breanna Johnson settled in for the Tigers, keeping Sioux Center off the board the next couple inning despite some traffic in the 3rd. The Warriors would pick up a couple more in the 4th though, making 4-0 in favor of Sioux Center.

Spencer would break through pitcher Courtney Schmidt in the 5th with Jasmyn Christensen scoring on a Shaylee Sutherland home run to make it 4-2. In the bottom half, Sioux Center extended their lead back to 3 with Schuiteman scoring off of the Schmalbeck single.

The Tigers would tie it up in the top of the 6th with runs coming out of the heart of the lineup from Olivia Huckfelt, Madison Steven, and Breanna Johnson.

After holding Sioux Center off the board in the bottom half of the 6th, The Tigers couldn’t take the lead, and the Warriors walked it off on a Schmalbeck RBI of Schuiteman in the bottom of the 7th.

Shaylee Sutherland led Spencer offensively in the loss with a couple of hits, a run and RBI on the home run. It was 3 hit, 3 run day for Margo Schuitemann in the win for the Warriors.
