The Spencer Girls Tennis team traveled to Byrnes Park in Waterloo for the IGHSAU State Tennis Championships. Xavier of Cedar Rapids faced Dike-New Hartford and Pella took on Spencer for the Class 1A Semifinals.

The Dutch were too much for the Tigers in a 5-0 Shutout consisting of 5 sweeps on the courts, advancing Pella to the State Championship.

Xavier of Cedar Rapids topped Dike-New Hartford 5-2 and advanced to face Pella in the State Championship dual.

Spencer and Dike-New Hartford would match up with each other in the 3rd Place Dual. The Tigers would win 5-2 with four sweeps. The Wolverines would take the #3 and #4 matches, each 2-0. Spencer claims Class 1A State 3rd Place for 2024.

Pella would come away with a thrilling 5-4 win in the 1A State Championship over Xavier of Cedar Rapids.
