Sibley, IA (KICD)– Sibley-Ocheyedan Schools are in the process of finding a new leader with the upcoming departure of its Superintendent.

Jamie Craig has served in this role for four years and has decided it is time to make a move for personal reasons.

Craig looked back at his time at Sibley-Ocheyedan noting some one of the biggest positive pieces has been the relationships built with the community while also helping students prepare for adulthood.

He adds there is another key piece to what the district is able to off to students: celebrate life.

The search for a new Superintended is entering the final stages with a new school district leader possibly being hired in the next few weeks.

Craig’s last day with Sibley-Ocheyedan will be June 30th with his replacement officially starting July 1st.
