Des Moines, IA (KICD) — Clay County Supervisor Barry Anderson is serving as chairman of the Iowa State Association of Counties this year. He was a guest on Public TV’s Iowa Press over the weekend and was asked about the state’s restrictions on local property taxes.
Anderson said he’s keeping an open mind on the state taking over the responsibility for mental health services.
And Anderson says, most counties – including Clay County – are siding with property owners on the Carbon pipeline issue.
