Spirit Lake, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The average home sale price in Clay and Dickinson County was down in the third quarter and up in Emmet County.

Iowa Great Lakes Realtors Executive Director Krista Stafford calls the market steady.  For July, August, and September the average sales price in Clay County was 197 thousand 712 dollars, down 19 percent from a year ago. Dickinson County prices were down about 3.8 percent.

And the average sale price in Emmet County for the past three months was 192 thousand 471 dollars, up 19 percent.  Year to date prices are up 17 percent in Emmet County, down 9 percent in Clay County, and down 3.2 percent in Dickinson County.
