Windom, MN (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Minnesota State patrol has released the identity of an 80-year-old motorists who died in a two-vehicle crash near Windom around 7 o’clock Monday night.

It appears Glen Letellier was attempting to turn onto Highway 71 and was struck by an oncoming semi.  The semi – driven by 24-year-old Colin Hooley of Plymouth, Minnesota was Northbound. He was not injured.  Letellier was pronounced dead at the scene. Highway 71 was closed for a period.

The Minnesota State patrol was assisted by the Jackson and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Departments; Jackson and Windom Police Departments; Jackson and Windom Fire Departments; Windom Ambulance and the Minnesota DNR.
