Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A 49-year-old Alton man has been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison in a Buena Vista County sex case. Dany Duarte plead guilty to 3rd degree sexual abuse after Storm Lake police received a report from a minor in June claiming Duarte had touched the victim inappropriately.

Following release Duarte must register as a sex offender and will be subject to parole supervision for life.
