Spirit Lake, IA (northwestiowanow) — A statewide traffic safety program is coming to Spirit Lake High School on Tuesday.
Iowa State Trooper Kevin Krull says the presentation gives students a firsthand look at how one decision can affect countless lives.
The program includes the wrecked Chevrolet Camaro involved in the crash.
Krull says organizers hope the presentation encourages students to make safer decisions when they get behind the wheel.
The Forever 17 Project will be presented at Spirit Lake High School on Tuesday, October 13th.
The damaged Camaro will also be on display in the morning before the presentation, giving students and community members an opportunity to view the vehicle.
