Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — Clay County residents can start casting their ballots for the General Election today (Wed).
Brandy Van Otterloo, Deputy Elections Commissioner for Clay County, says voters can begin casting absentee ballots in person on Wednesday, October 14th.
Election officials must receive absentee ballot request forms by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 19th.
Van Otterloo says Iowa voters who miss the pre-registration deadline can still register and vote at their polling place or at the Auditor’s Office.
Residents with questions about voting, registration, or absentee ballots are encouraged to contact the Clay County Auditor’s Office.
