Estherville, IA (northwestiowanow) — The Estherville Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Fright Hike this Saturday.
Returning for its 14th year, the haunted attraction features a half mile walk through the woods with themed scenes, actors and scares along the trail.
Lexi Ruter, Executive Director of the Estherville Chamber of Commerce, says the outdoor setting helps the experience stand out.
The event has become one of the last remaining haunted attractions in Northwest Iowa.
For anyone looking for a less intense experience, Ruter says there will be a special “Lights on Hour” before the full-scare hike begins.
The full-scare version of the hike follows immediately after from 7:00 until 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is $10 per person, with tickets available at the entrance. Cash, credit cards and Venmo will be accepted.
