Spencer, IA (KICD) — Spencer has entered the Recovery phase of the flood of 2024. Public Works Director Mark White says wastewater is now circulating through the treatment plant.

A temporary debris collection site was opened Wednesday, and a second alternate site was added this morning.

City crews are working twelve-hour shifts, and the city of Milford and volunteers are also assisting with debris collection.
